Verdict: False!
Verification: No evidence supports the social media user’s claim. However, Mr Mahama is clear that LGBTQ+ practices are against the beliefs of the country’s religious groups.
“I am against LGBTQ. I am a member of the Assemblies of God Church, and my faith is against it,” Mr Mahama said at a meeting with some Zongo chiefs.
