Our Team

Kwaku Krobea Asante is the Programme Officer for Fact-check Ghana and leads the Fact-checking team. Prior to becoming the Programme officer for Fact-check Ghana, Kwaku led on several projects at the MFWA including the Media Ethics Monitoring Project and served as the communications officer under the Africa We Want project, a mobilisation of civil society support for the implementation of the African Governance Architecture, which is being implemented across eight countries in Africa.

Before joining the organisation, he worked as a research assistant on many communication research projects in Ghana. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, both from the University of Ghana.
